It’s that time of year in in the Prospect, and Crown Heights of Brooklyn, NY when the West Indian Parade comes to town,

Unfortunately, more than half the parade consists of throwing every piece of food, styrofoam, blow up hammers, food, vomit, bottles, food, and more food.

Those who had a little respect bagged their garbage, and still through it in the road.

Miraculously, the morning after the “West Indian tornado” hit, the streets were clean again the very next morning around 9 am.

Although the hatred for this “parade” grew, my undying love for New York’s Waste Management Department, still grows.
